Who we are
Jaghet (“we”, “us”) is a business based in Kenya that sources embroidered and statement jackets from different places and sells and resells them online. You can reach us any time through the contact section, or by phone or WhatsApp on +254 706 085 240.
Your account
You sign in with your Google account. There are no passwords. Keep your email and Google account secure: you are responsible for what happens through them. You do not need an account to check out as a guest.
Products and prices
- Prices are in Kenyan shillings (KES) and are shown before you pay.
- Embroidery is a craft. Small differences in stitching and thread colour between pieces are normal. Colours on your screen may differ slightly from the real thing.
- We may change prices or stop selling a product at any time. A change never affects an order you have already paid for.
Ordering and payment
- You can pay by M-PESA or by card. Payments are handled securely by Paystack. We never see your card number or M-PESA PIN.
- Your order is confirmed once your payment goes through and we email you a confirmation.
- Stock is checked when payment completes. If an item turns out to be unavailable, we cancel that order and refund you in full.
Delivery
Delivery options, fees and estimated times are shown at checkout and in our help page. Estimates are not guarantees. Please make sure your address and phone number are correct, because the courier may call you.
Returns, alterations and repairs
All sales are final. We offer free alterations within 14 days of delivery and repairs for life. The details are on our returns page and our care page. Nothing in our returns policy affects your rights under Kenyan consumer law.
History photos
After you buy, we may invite you to appear in History, our film of people wearing Jaghet. It is always your choice: appear publicly, appear anonymously, or not at all. We only use a photo you choose to give us, and we never take one from your social media. If you change your mind, tell us and your frame goes back to private.
Using the site
Please do not misuse the site: do not try to break it, overload it, copy it in bulk, or access anyone else’s account or data.
Our designs and content
The Jaghet name, designs, embroidery patterns, photographs and the content of this site belong to us. You may not copy or reuse them without our written permission. The photo you give us for History stays yours.
Our responsibility
Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that the law does not allow us to limit, including your rights under Kenyan consumer law. Otherwise, our responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the new terms. A change does not affect an order you have already placed.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and the courts of Kenya can hear any dispute about them.
